Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (Terms) apply to the Drive Her Forward Promotion (Promotion) run by Healthcare by Douglas Limited trading as Cadence. Please read these Terms carefully before participating. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

1. Promoter: The promoter of this Promotion is Healthcare by Douglas Limited (HBD), a New Zealand company. For enquiries, contact: hello@cadencewellbeing.com.

2. Acceptance of Terms: Participation in this Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Information on how to participate in this Promotion forms part of these Terms.

3. Eligibility: Participation is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of purchase (Participant). Employees, contractors, officers, and directors of HBD and its related companies, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

4. Promotion Period: This Promotion applies to purchases made at www.cadencewellbeing.com between 12:00am NZST on 17 June 2026 and 11:59pm NZST on 29 July 2026 (Promotion Period). Purchases made outside the Promotion Period are not eligible for any Prize.

5. Prizes: This Promotion has two prize tiers (each a Prize, together Prizes):

(a) Major Prize (Volkswagen Golf): One (1) prize of a Pure White Volkswagen Golf Life 2026, valued at NZD $49,990 GST inclusive (excluding on-road costs) (Golf Prize), awarded by draw at the end of the Promotion Period from all eligible Entries, as described in clauses 6 and 8.

(b) Weekly Fuel Voucher Prizes: Six (6) prizes of NZD $500 fuel voucher each (Fuel Prize), one awarded by weekly draw during each of the six weeks of the Promotion Period, as described in clause 9. The total value of all Fuel Prizes is NZD $3,000.

(c) Total Prize Value: The total value of all Prizes is NZD $52,990 (subject to the exclusions noted above).

 

6. Entries: During the Promotion Period, Participants who place and pay for orders via HBD's official online store at www.cadencewellbeing.com (Online Orders) will earn entries into the draw for the Golf Prize and the Fuel Prize (Entries), subject to these Terms.

(a) Entry Rate: Participants earn one (1) Entry for every NZD $1.00 of goods and/or services purchased and paid for via Online Orders during the Promotion Period (excluding amounts that are refunded or returned). Entry amounts are rounded to the nearest whole dollar. For example, an order of NZD $50.90 earns 50 Entries.

(b) Subscription Orders: Each subscription order placed and paid for during the Promotion Period earns one (1) Entry per NZD $1.00 of the subscription order value on the same basis as clause 6(a).

(c) Multiple Entries: Participants may earn multiple Entries by making more than one eligible Online Order during the Promotion Period, or by benefitting from an Entry Multiplier under clause 7.

(d) Automatic Entry: All eligible Entries are automatically entered into the draw for:

(i)  the Golf Prize at the end of the Promotion Period; and

(ii) the Fuel Prize in the Week that Online Orders are placed. For the purposes of this Promotion, Week means the seven day period from 12:00am NZT on Wednesday to 11:59pm NZT on the following Tuesday, with the first Week running from 17 June 2026 and the last ending on 29 July 2026,

no separate action is required.

(e) Returned and Refunded Orders: Entries earned from Online Orders that are subsequently returned or refunded (in whole or in part) will be reduced or voided to reflect the net purchase amount.

7. Entry Multipliers: HBD's marketing team may, at any time during the Promotion Period, announce one or more opportunities for Participants to earn bonus Entries (Entry Multiplier). When an Entry Multiplier applies:

(a) HBD will specify the qualifying action or purchase type, the applicable multiplier (e.g. 2x or 4x), and the period during which the Entry Multiplier applies.

(b) Entries earned from qualifying Online Orders during an Entry Multiplier period will be multiplied by the applicable Entry Multiplier. For example, a NZD $40 purchase during a 2x Entry Multiplier offer would earn 80 Entries instead of 40.

(c) HBD may vary the qualifying actions, thresholds, multiplier amounts, and durations of Entry Multiplier opportunities at its discretion without amending these Terms. Any Entry Multiplier offer will be communicated to Participants via HBD's website, email, or social media channels.

 

8. Golf Prize Draw: At the end of the Promotion Period, HBD will conduct a random draw from all eligible Entries to determine the winner of the Golf Prize (Golf Draw).

(a) The Golf Draw will be conducted by random selection within 20 business days of the end of the Promotion Period and will be determined at Central Park Drive, Lincoln 0610, Auckland, New Zealand.

(b) The winner will be notified by HBD using the email address, phone number, or other contact details provided at the time of their Online Order, within 5 business days from the draw occurred at 8(a) above.

(c) The Golf Prize winner must, within 10 business days of receiving a winner notification as outlined in 8(b) above:

(i) confirm acceptance of the Golf Prize to HBD; and

(ii) provide identification and any other documentation reasonably required by HBD to verify the win and arrange collection.

(d) A Participant may only win the Golf Prize once. Winning a Fuel Prize does not affect a Participant's eligibility to win the Golf Prize.

 

9. Fuel Prize Draws: During each of the six (6) weeks of the Promotion Period, HBD will conduct one (1) random draw for a Fuel Prize (Weekly Draw).

(a) Eligibility: Any Participant who has made at least one eligible Online Order in the relevant Week of the Promotion Period is eligible to be entered into that Week's Weekly Draw.

(b) One Win Per Participant: A Participant may only win one (1) Fuel Prize across the entire Promotion Period. If a Participant wins a Fuel Prize, they will not be eligible to win any subsequent Fuel Prize, but remain eligible for the Golf Prize draw.

(c) Draw Timing: Each Weekly Draw will be conducted by random selection within 3 business days following the end of the relevant Week.

(d) Notification and Claim: Weekly Draw winners will be notified by HBD and must confirm acceptance within 5 business days of notification. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within that time, HBD may, in its discretion, conduct a redraw.

 

10. Dress for Success Donation: For each transaction completed via www.cadencewellbeing.com during the Promotion Period (regardless of the number of items in the order), HBD will donate NZD $1.00 to Dress for Success New Zealand. This donation is made by HBD and forms no part of any Prize. The total donation will be calculated and paid by HBD following the end of the Promotion Period.

 

11. Conditions for All Prizes: Each Prize winner must be verified by HBD to its reasonable satisfaction. By claiming or accepting a Prize, each winner confirms that:

(a) Terms Apply: they are subject to and agree to these Terms;

(b) Genuine Entry: they have genuinely obtained their Entries through qualifying purchases, and are not aware of any reason their win or claim is invalid;

(c) Payment and Delivery: once verification is completed, HBD will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the Golf Prize or pay the Fuel Prize within 40 business days of the end of the Promotion Period (for voucher Prizes, voucher delivery in NZD; for the Golf Prize, by arrangement as set out in clause 12);

(d) Non-Transferable: Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, redeemable for cash or subject to alteration without HBD's prior written consent; and

(e) Tax: winners are responsible for all tax implications arising from receipt of a Prize. HBD recommends seeking independent financial or tax advice prior to accepting a Prize. HBD accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting a Prize.

12. Golf Prize Conditions: The following additional conditions apply to the Golf Prize:

(a) Use During Promotion Period: HBD will use and drive the Golf Prize vehicle during the Promotion Period and until it is collected by the winner. HBD will ensure the vehicle is in a clean and tidy condition at the time of collection.

(b) Branding Removal: HBD will remove all HBD and Cadence logos and branding from the Golf Prize prior to collection by the winner, at HBD's cost.

(c) Collection: The Golf Prize will be available for collection at a location in Auckland, New Zealand, on a date determined by HBD. If HBD agrees to vary the collection location or terms at the winner's request, all additional costs of doing so will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

(d) No Conversion: The Golf Prize cannot be converted to cash and is not refundable, exchangeable, or transferable.

(e) Exclusions: Unless otherwise stated by HBD, the Golf Prize does not include insurance, registration, on-road costs, maintenance, fuel, or any other costs associated with owning or operating the vehicle. Compliance with all applicable government and regulatory requirements is the responsibility of the winner.

(f) Transfer Documentation: Prior to taking possession of the Golf Prize, the winner must sign all reasonable transfer of ownership documents, waivers, and acknowledgements as required by HBD.

(g) No Warranty: HBD makes no representation as to the safety, condition, or suitability of the Golf Prize beyond what is required by law. The winner accepts the Golf Prize in its condition at the time of collection.

13. Substitution: HBD reserves the right to substitute any Prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value, in its reasonable discretion.

14. Unclaimed Prizes: If a Golf Prize winner fails to complete the steps in clauses 8(c) and 11 within 10 business days of notification, or if a Fuel Prize winner fails to respond within the time set in clause 9(d), the relevant Prize may be forfeited at HBD's discretion, subject to applicable law. HBD may award a forfeited Prize to an alternative winner by redraw.

 

15. Verification and Disqualification: HBD may take all reasonable steps to verify Prize claims. HBD may disqualify any Participant who:

(a) submits a fraudulent, duplicated, or invalid claim;

(b) uses automated tools, bots, or other artificial means to generate Entries;

(c) engages in misleading or deceptive conduct in connection with the Promotion; or

(d) otherwise breaches these Terms.

Reference to a Participant as a winner or any communication regarding a Prize does not waive HBD's verification rights.

 

16. HBD's Rights: HBD may, in its reasonable discretion:

(a) decline to communicate with any Participant;

(b) alter these Terms during the Promotion Period to the extent necessary to maintain the integrity of the Promotion, with any variations published at www.cadencewellbeing.com;

(c) perform any stated function via an agent, and Participants must accept such performance as if by HBD directly; and

(d) if HBD determines a person is ineligible or in breach of these Terms, void their Prize claim, exclude them from this and future HBD promotions, and take any other action HBD considers appropriate.

17. Publicity: Participants who win any Prize agree to participate in reasonable publicity activities requested by HBD, including photographs, video, and interviews relating to the Promotion and the Cadence brand, without additional compensation, and agree to HBD using all content created for marketing purposes, including paid advertising.

18. Privacy: Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be used to administer the Promotion and in accordance with HBD's Privacy Policy at www.cadencewellbeing.com/policies/privacy-policy.

19. Independent Promotion: This Promotion is operated independently by HBD and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any social media platform or third party (including any retailer). Participants release all such platforms and third parties from any liability in connection with this Promotion.

20. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, HBD is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in this Promotion or in connection with any Prize claim, verification, or collection, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

21. Force Majeure: If events outside HBD's reasonable control, or material adverse changes to political, economic, social, or environmental conditions in New Zealand, prevent HBD from reasonably performing the Promotion, HBD may amend the terms of the Promotion (including dates and Prizes). HBD may cancel this Promotion with no liability to any person if such events arise and continue for more than two (2) months.

22. Interpretation: HBD's decisions in the exercise or interpretation of its rights under these Terms are final and binding. This Promotion is a promotional prize draw, not a lottery under the Gambling Act 2003 (NZ). These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction. Business days are based on Auckland business days.
